Import files to the Local database


1.Open the Local database menu and click Import files...



or click Import files... from the Import menu in the Local database view



2.Choose a file or several files that you want to import and click Open.



3.Select the method for importing DICOM files. Generally, you should opt for the Copy files option. This guarantees that the imported files are saved within the database folder. 
If you prefer to keep the DICOM files in their original location and only add references to them in the database, click Add links. This approach is suitable if you maintain the DICOM files in an organized folder structure on your hard drive.



4.The status bar shows the import progress.




5.You can search and open studies from the Local database view.
