Open Curve
The Open Curve tool allows you to draw a multi-segment open curve on a DICOM image. It is used to trace and measure irregular paths or anatomical structures that require more flexibility than a straight line. The total length of the curve is displayed on the image.
Using the Open Curve Tool
1.Select the Open Curve tool from the toolbar or the Measure and annotate menu, or press V on the keyboard.
2.Click on the image to set the starting point.
3.Continue clicking to add additional points along the curve.
4.Double-click to finish drawing the curve. The total length is displayed on the image.
To reposition the curve, click and drag it to the desired location. To move an individual point, click and drag it. The measurement label can also be moved independently by dragging it to a new position.
To delete a measurement, right-click on it and select Delete, or press the Delete key on the keyboard.
To change the fill color, thickness, opacity, and other properties, right-click on the object and select Properties, or double-click on it.
