dicom files are not in order

Hi,
My files are in order (dicom01_001.dcm, dicom01_002.dcm, dicom01_003.dcm... ,dicom01_192.dcm) in the patient's folder. But MicroDicom is not opening them in order. How can I fix this? I couldn't understand what I did wrong.

Hello,
MicroDicom orders images according to different criteria, rather than by file name. For instance, it looks at the Instance Number to determine the order of images.

I have the same issue.

Everytime the entire series in a folder is reloaded, the order of the images appear variable.
Instance Number is 1 for all my dicom files within the folder.
Files are all named in running order, but microdicom does not appear to sort them by name.

I've tried editing the Instance Number individually and it works. However it'll be very tedious for me to edit every file individually.
