Import JPG image stack (HREM) as volume data?

Hi,

I have several stacks of grayscale JPG images from HREM (High resolution episcopic microscopy) specimens. They have a fixed slice thickness so I know the voxel size exactly. Is it somehow possible to import a whole stack of images to microDicom as volume data and work with them like with a CT study for example?

Any guidance is appreciated!
