It has helped me learn a good bit about DICOM images. Is there a version available (for purchase or free) which can display more than 256 grayscale on the display?
Most example DICOM files I find online are from medical scans, and have more than 8-bits of grayscale available. I can find a laptop or desktop with 10-bit grayscale display and Windows 7+ supports it, so I was wondering if there is a way for MicroDICOM to show all the grays (up to the limit of the display anyway).
Many newer TVs as I understand it, also support 10-bit grayscales.
Either way, thank you for the efforts. It is a good way to learn about DICOM images.
