Error: Not found dicom images

I'm currently using 0.8.7-x64 - it works fine

When upgraded to 0.8.9-x64 it says "not found dicom images". Images are there because I can open with 0.8.7.-x64

I also tried 0.8.8.-x64, same messages.

It is great web site have old versions available. I re-installed 0.8.7-x64 and it finds images.

Does anyone encounter this problem?

Also, what's new in newer versions?

Thanks for reporting this issue. We know about that. We make a fix after version 0.8.8 to improve scanning of DICOM files. And we scan for DICOM files that are implemented with official DICOM file format and we stop to search for DICOM files that are implemented an old, inofficial (pre-1995) DICOM file format. This is only for searching DICOM files, but MicroDicom open them.
We will fix this problem and will return scanning of DICOM files with old file format. But it will be available in next version.
