cannot install win32 shell extension on x64 machine

Hello,

Is there a way to force install the win32 shell extension on x64 machine. I would like to install both the x64 and win32 extensions to allow 32bits applications to display dicom previews in their file dialogs.

Whenever I try to install the Win32 shell extension on an x64 machine the installer says "Sorry this application runs only on x86 machines".

Another alternative could be to let the x64-installer enable the extension for 32bits apps (in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Wow6432Node) ???

You can't install win32 version on x64 machine. Because win32 shell extension don't work on x64 machine.
