Hi,

It will be really useful if there are some kind on command line options available. It will definitely help with integration with other software.

For example: if you have a hospital information system which keeps track of patient records like the unique Study ID, the HIS will be able to start the MicroDicom viewer directly with the patient study loaded.

Kind regards,
Nikolay

Thanks for suggestion.
We can use following command line arguments now:

- Open a DICOM file: mDicom.exe <path_to_DICOM_file>

- Open a DICOMDIR file: mDicom.exe <path_to_DICOMDIR_file>

- Scan a directory for DICOM files: mDicom.exe <path_to_directory_to_scan>

Could you suggest some other command line options that will be useful for you?

Hello,

for me it will be really useful if I can download a study from a remote location.

For example if I have previously added PACS server with AET TESTPACS and an IP/Port pair 10.20.30.40:4242 to use it in the following fashion:

mDicom.exe /server TESTPACS
or maybe
mDicom.exe /server 10.20.30.40:4242

I made some tests and found that the only unique field in the servers menu is the description. So the server option may be even:
mDicom.exe /server DESC_OF_SERVER

Also it will be really useful to combine the /server option with searching a unique tag for example ACCESSION NUMBER, Tag (0008,0050)

mDicom.exe /server TESTPACS /asnumber 78569.16426778

to download the study.

Kind regards,
Nikolay

Thanks for suggestions.
I already write them in our TODO list and we will implement downloading from PACS server via command line.
