Hi All,
Hoping I get some assistance with an issue I am having. I have configured a query/retrieve node in MicroDICOM. I can do a query but when I do a retrieve (download) I get an error message "DIMSE No valid Presentation Context ID"
Any idea why I am getting this error?

Hello,
Could you explain in more details from where you query and retrieve?

Hello,
Thank you for the report. Here is what the two errors mean:
"DIMSE No valid Presentation Context ID" (C-GET)
The PACS accepted the connection but not the C-GET retrieve request. This usually means the PACS supports only C-MOVE. Please change the Protocol in the server settings to C-MOVE.
"Refused: OutOfResourcesSubOperations" (C-MOVE)
With C-MOVE, the PACS opens a new connection back to MicroDicom to send the images. This error means that connection failed. Please check:
Register MicroDicom on the PACS. The PACS must have MicroDicom registered as a DICOM destination (node), with:
the AE title from MicroDicom's settings (it is case-sensitive),
the IP address of your computer,
the port from MicroDicom's settings.
Receiving server running. MicroDicom's DICOM receiving server must be running while you download.
Firewall. Windows Firewall, or any network firewall, must allow incoming connections on that port.
In the next version, MicroDicom will show clearer messages for both errors. It will also retry with the Patient Root query model and handle some servers whose responses previously caused the first error.
If it still doesn't work, please tell us which PACS you are using.
